"As noites de verão levam em seu regaço meu passado, e tal como estas anunciam sua partida também meu passado se atenua.
Este verão, como previ, foi palco para mudança, pelas trovoadas que sucederam e pela bonança que se apresentou prontamente. Finalmente, enterrei os esqueletos que me assombraram escondidos no armário, guardei em gavetas as recordações bem organizadas, fiz a cama como desfecho desta etapa e tranquei aquele que se tornou o meu antigo quarto. Cuidadosamente, guardei a chave para que apesar de isolado não seja esquecido nem inacessivel. Mais tarde, conto voltar a abrir a porta, vestir aquilo que guardei nas gavetas e adormecer na empoeirada cama, sonhando toda uma noite com aquilo que, sem arrependimento, vivi e acordar na manhã seguinte noutro quarto...neste novo quarto e nesta nova etapa!..."
